Patar Beach

The Parola is one of their heritage place the most visited site when you go to Patar Beach. Located in the midst of the diverse flora, Cape Bolinao Lighthouse was constructed in the year 1905 by the Filipino, American and British architects. It’s second to the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse situated in Burgos, Ilocos Norte in terms of height. The height of the lighthouse is 101 foot, i.e., 30.78-B612_20170513_114440meter. Stop and look at the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse and take a picture groupie or selfie it’s depend the way you want to take a picture before you go to Patar Beach.

Patar Beach is blessed with the famous golden sand beach destination of Bolinao which features fine golden sand, a vibrant sea and and fiery sunset on clear days. The best to visit in Patar when you are with your family. Perfect place for family outing and bounding. There are so many resort where you can stay and rent a cottage. Patar beach has a blue ocean and beautiful sunset. It is worth to visit and relax and feel the place.

How to get there?..

B612_20170513_114304There are several buses that ply the Manila to Bolinao route namely Victory Liner, Five Star, Dagupan Bus. Travel times is roughly around five to six hours. To head to Patar beach imply rent a trike in Bolinao town proper.

If you’re going by a car the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), then the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) towards Tarlac City. At Tarlac City take the road going to Camiling and drive all the way Alaminos City, Pangasinan. At Alaminos City continue along the national highway until you reach the junction at next town Bani. Take the road going north to Bolinao. This road goes all the to Bolinao town proper.

B612_20170513_123326If you wish to go straight to Patar Beach take the road on the left opposite the Bolinao Cental School before you reach the town proper (this road goes by the name of Saturnino Camanian on Google maps). This latter road goes down south where it forks into Patar Road just after the Baingasay National High School and the bridge over the Balingasay River. The bridge is your cue to take the fork on the right which is Patar road. Keep driving down road you’ll pass severalresorts on your right including Puerto del Sol.  Beach is at the end of this road just after Treasure of Bolinao. Total travel time to patar beach is around 5 hours.

And also I enjoy a lot going here since I am with my family and cousin, nieces and nephew came from faraway place. It’s just amazing when you see how beautiful the place. The off golden sandy stretch embracing the cerulean water of the ocean make the place look like heaven on the earth.
