EL NIDO PALAWAN

The Philippines have so many beautiful destination.  According to Phillippine’s  Department of Tourism in 2010 Boracay gained popularity as a tourist hotspot, followed by Palawan in 2011., when the UNDERGROUND RIVER was nomi1_Fotornated to be recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, and eventually won in 2012. And one of the beautiful place in Palawan is the El Nido beach.  Travelers benefit a cheap rent for the resort at month of June thru November because it is  off season. Heavy rainfall occurs that month which can result the cancellations of the island activities. While the dry months from November to May it is the best time to visit. Expect so many attraction to see.

2_FotorAccording to travelinboots.com accessing El Nido has become easier thru a plane. The only airline that flies from Manila to Lio Airport Il Niso is AirSWIFT , previously known as Island Transvoyager or ITI Air.The one-way trip start at 7,000 pesos. I know it is not feasible for travelers on a budget but it has a cheapest way for a travelers on a budget. Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and AirAsia fly from Manila to Puerto Princesa  Palawan. From Puerto Princesa Airport it has  two option to get in El Nido via bus or shuttle van. Shuttle van costing 500 pesos for Filpinos and 600 pesos for the foreigner. The van travel time is approximately 5 to 6 hours. While the bus travel time is to 6 to 7 hours. It stops frequently to pick-up and drop-off passengers along the way. The price is 480 pesos for an airconditioned and 380 for the ordinary bus. You have walk a few steps from airport and look for the tricycles for a 50 pesos to go to bus terminal. The road to E Nido is as tumultuous  a roller coaster.

El Nido

Count their islands whiles it is low tide instead of having more island, they had less. Because a stretch a sand bar connects two land masses together when the waters recede, and breaks the island apart during high-tide.

Islands Hopping Destination

  1. Island Hopping A (Lagoons): Small Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Shimizu Islands, and 7 Commando Beach.
  2. Islands Hopping B ( Caves): Snake Islands, Pinagbuyutan Islands. Cudugnon Cave, and Cathedral Cave.

  4. Islands Hopping D ( Cadlao Islands): Pasandigan Beach, Nat Nat Beach, Bucal Beach and Paradise Beach.

Tours  A and D have the option to kayak from island to island rather than using the normal motorized boats.
